2. All information is handled confidentially and in order for your problem to be dealt with effectively you will be asked to give a brief reason for your request when booking an appointment.
3. Most appointments are 15 minutes long and it is recommended that you bring one problem per appointment.

Please cancel appointments you can't make!

Nurse and Health Care Assistant appointments

We also have Nurses and Health Care Assistants who provide various services. Our reception staff can help you book appointments. Please use our patient Online services or call for more information.

Repeat prescriptions
If you've been given a repeat prescription by your doctor, you can request refills online and collect them when they're ready

If sending the request by post please enclose a stamped addressed envelope and allow plenty of time

We accept prescriptions in advance so there is no need to wait until your medication is running out; please give yourself plenty of time to request repeat prescriptions, especially if you are going on holiday

You cannot collect your prescription on Saturdays. Requests for any medication not on the repeat order form will have to be approved by a doctor, and if authorised, prescriptions will take longer to process.

Test results
For test results you can ring our Reception staff for test results between 10.30am- 12.30pm Monday - Friday.

The time in which results come back can vary but please do check; don't assume that if you haven't heard anything that it must be OK. Neither the reception staff nor the doctors are able to discuss your results with a member of your family without your permission.

Please note: you will need to contact the hospital team for results of any tests that they have requested.
